Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) to forecast 2026 market opportunities
- Develop strategic roadmaps aligning R&D investments with future societal needs
- Lead cross-functional workshops to ideate breakthrough solutions for 2026 challenges
- Partner with government agencies to shape future tech policy and standards
- Present foresight insights to investors and board members to secure funding
- Build and manage a global network of futurist researchers and industry pioneers
- Author quarterly '2026 Horizon Reports' disseminated to 50+ Fortune 500 partners
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, tech innovation, or futurism roles
- Proven track record of predicting market shifts (portfolio examples required)
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Experience advising C-suite on long-term tech strategy
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology, or related field
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed futurism journals
- Proficiency in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Global network connections with tech policymakers and research institutions
