Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year tech roadmaps for emerging technologies (quantum AI, neural interfaces, decentralized networks)
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives targeting 2026 market-ready innovations
- Conduct horizon scanning and scenario planning for disruptive tech trends
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Mentor junior futurists and build an innovation pipeline
- Collaborate with venture partners to identify breakthrough opportunities
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech roles with proven impact on future-focused initiatives
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, Web3)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or tech strategy
- Experience with scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- PhD or equivalent in relevant field (preferred)
- Track record of scaling innovations from concept to market
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
