- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies and assess commercial viability
- Develop ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and AI governance
- Present strategic technology forecasts to C-suite and external stakeholders
- Secure partnerships with research institutions and government innovation labs
- Mentor junior engineers in future-proofing methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technical leadership with 5+ years in emerging tech (quantum/AI/climate)
- Proven track record of shipping futuristic products (e.g., blockchain, AR/VR)
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurology
- Deep expertise in ethical AI frameworks and responsible innovation practices
- Experience with government tech policy and public-private partnerships
- Prior work in sustainability tech or climate modeling systems
- Published research in IEEE Nature or equivalent tier-1 journals
