Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, neurotech, climate AI) to forecast 2026 market disruptions
- Develop strategic roadmaps aligning R&D investments with 5-year future-state vision
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into actionable product roadmaps
- Partner with venture capital arm to identify and integrate emerging startups
- Deliver keynote presentations at industry conferences on 2026 technology horizons
- Author annual 'Future State' reports influencing $1.5B+ portfolio decisions
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight or emerging technology analysis
- Proven track record developing multi-year tech roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, biotech regulation, climate tech policy
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech publications (MIT Tech Review, Wired)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools (e.g., GIST, Causal Layered Analysis)
- Experience advising C-suite on disruptive technology adoption
