Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026-2030 landscapes
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for C-suite decision-making across product, operations, and R&D
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-state solutions
- Author strategic whitepapers and executive briefings on emerging risks and opportunities
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Translate foresight insights into product roadmaps and go-to-market strategies
- Advise leadership on regulatory and ethical implications of emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, R&D, or innovation leadership with demonstrated futurist expertise
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related quantitative/qualitative discipline
- Portfolio of published foresight work or scenario-planning projects
- Proficiency in trend analysis tools (e.g., Gartner, Forrester, Futures Platform)
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through ambiguous transformation initiatives
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum, climate tech)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complexity to diverse stakeholders
- Track record of influencing strategic decisions through data-driven foresight
