Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year strategic roadmaps for 2026+ by analyzing technological, societal, and economic megatrends
- Lead scenario-planning workshops to anticipate disruptions in AI, biotech, and quantum computing
- Produce forward-looking white papers and executive briefings on future workforce evolution
- Collaborate with R&D teams to integrate futuristic concepts into product development pipelines
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Present strategic recommendations to the board and executive leadership quarterly
- Monitor innovation ecosystems and identify emerging opportunities for strategic investment
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Management, Technology Forecasting, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven track record of developing long-term strategic frameworks for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in trend analysis, systems thinking, and scenario modeling methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, nanotech, synthetic biology) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional communication skills with experience presenting complex ideas to executive audiences
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists) highly valued
