Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026
- Develop comprehensive 2026 strategic scenarios and risk-assessment frameworks
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-state roadmaps
- Produce foresight reports and data visualizations for executive decision-making
- Partner with R&D to prototype 2026-ready solutions and innovation pipelines
- Monitor global innovation ecosystems and emerging market signals
- Represent the company at future-focused conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology forecasting
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling and data visualization capabilities
- Experience leading cross-organizational change initiatives
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Futures Research (e.g., CFTR) preferred
