Responsibilities
- Architect 5-10 year strategic roadmaps for emerging tech domains (quantum AI, neuro interfaces, climate tech)
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Scenario' workshops with C-suite executives and R&D teams
- Develop predictive models using proprietary foresight methodologies and real-time data streams
- Collaborate with MIT Media Lab and Singularity University on horizon-scanning initiatives
- Translate complex future-state concepts into actionable business frameworks and KPIs
- Pioneer new innovation metrics to track progress toward 2026 technological milestones
- Present findings at global tech summits and publish in Future Studies Quarterly
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent 10+ years in strategic foresight
- Proven track record predicting tech disruptions (portfolio required)
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methods, and trend analysis frameworks
- Deep knowledge of quantum computing, AGI safety, or synthetic biology
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with visualization mastery (Tableau/Power BI)
- Published thought leadership in MIT Tech Review, Wired, or equivalent
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., AC/FS) or similar
- Fluency in Python for predictive modeling and trend simulation
