Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive 2026 strategic foresight frameworks using trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions in AI, biotech, and quantum computing
- Produce quarterly future-state reports with actionable recommendations for executive leadership
- Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with academic institutions, government bodies, and emerging tech startups
- Design and deliver immersive 'Future Labs' for stakeholders to explore 2026 technological possibilities
- Monitor geopolitical shifts, regulatory changes, and ethical implications of emerging technologies
- Mentor a team of futurists and innovation specialists to build organizational foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, Technology Policy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven track record of developing and implementing multi-year strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology, quantum computing)
- Exceptional storytelling skills to translate complex future scenarios into compelling narratives
- Strong quantitative and qualitative research methodologies mastery
- Experience with scenario planning tools like STEEP analysis, Delphi method, or causal layered analysis
- Demonstrated ability to influence C-suite decisions and drive organizational change
