- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-focused initiatives
- Produce white papers and scenario models for board-level decision-making
- Partner with R&D to incubate moonshot projects with 2026+ market potential
- Monitor geopolitical shifts and their impact on technological adoption timelines
- Mentor junior futurists and establish thought leadership in the domain
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of successful long-term technology commercialization
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight (preferred)
- Portfolio demonstrating published future-oriented research or frameworks
