Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026+ technology roadmaps by synthesizing global market trends and emerging scientific breakthroughs
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align product development with future human needs and societal shifts
- Produce high-impact scenario analyses for disruptive technologies (neuromorphic computing, climate tech, etc.)
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs to accelerate future-readiness
- Present future-vision frameworks to investors and board members to secure long-term R&D funding
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts affecting 2026+ tech implementation landscapes
- Mentor junior futurists to cultivate next-generation strategic thinking capabilities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or equivalent field with 7+ years of strategic planning experience
- Proven track record in translating foresight research into enterprise-level technology roadmaps
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies and scenario planning frameworks
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum) and societal implications
- Exceptional data visualization and narrative communication skills for complex future concepts
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology strategy (e.g., IEEE, HBR)
