Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research across quantum computing, biotechnology, and decentralized systems
- Develop 10-year strategic frameworks for market disruption and competitive advantage
- Lead scenario-planning workshops with executive stakeholders and innovation labs
- Author forward-looking whitepapers influencing industry policy and R&D priorities
- Partner with venture capital teams to identify next-generation investment opportunities
- Curate and host global futurist symposia with MIT, Singularity University, and World Economic Forum
- Drive adoption of emerging technologies through agile prototyping and pilot programs
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech leadership
- Portfolio demonstrating published trend analysis or scenario-planning frameworks
- Deep expertise in at least two exponential technology domains (AI/ML, Quantum, Neurotech, etc.)
- Experience with Delphi methodology, trend impact matrices, and weak signal detection
- Proven ability to translate complex future scenarios into executable business strategies
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., APF, WFS) or equivalent
- Exceptional storytelling skills for executive audiences and external stakeholders
