Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for 2026+ technological, economic, and societal trends
- Develop strategic frameworks for emerging domains (AGI, quantum biology, neural interfaces)
- Coordinate cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and policy teams
- Produce trend reports and scenario-planning documents for C-suite stakeholders
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions and global innovation hubs
- Design ethical frameworks for next-generation technologies and business models
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate an organization-wide future literacy culture
Qualifications
- Advanced degree (Master's/PhD) in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- 5+ years experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech R&D
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Proven track record of translating future insights into actionable strategies
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario-planning capabilities
- Strong presentation skills with executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology ethics
