Responsibilities
- Develop horizon-scanning frameworks identifying disruptive technologies by 2026
- Lead scenario planning workshops for AI, biotech, and climate tech convergence
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-proof business models
- Produce annual 'State of 2026' trend reports for Fortune 500 clients
- Coordinate with global futurist networks to validate predictions
- Design ethical guidelines for autonomous systems deployment
- Mentor junior futurists in predictive analytics methodologies
Qualifications
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech R&D
- Expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Published thought leadership in future studies or tech ethics
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., STEEP analysis)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful 5-year+ technology predictions
- Certification in Foresight Methodologies (e.g., AC/FS) preferred
- Fluency in at least one data visualization platform (Tableau/PowerBI)
