Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech, economic, and social trends to forecast 2026 market shifts
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for emerging technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align strategic initiatives with future opportunities
- Produce high-impact trend reports and executive briefings
- Identify and evaluate potential acquisition targets in futuristic sectors
- Build an external network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Present strategic recommendations to the board of directors
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of accurate trend forecasting and scenario planning
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, nanotech, etc.)
- Exceptional data visualization and storytelling skills
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies and Delphi techniques
- Portfolio of published trend analyses or white papers
- Ability to translate complex concepts into executable business strategies
