Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026+ technology foresight framework using trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype solutions for emerging market gaps and societal challenges
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders with quantified risk/benefit projections
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, research labs, and think tanks to accelerate discovery
- Create immersive future-state simulations to stress-test organizational resilience
- Author thought leadership publications on disruptive technologies and their societal implications
- Mentor internal teams in futures thinking methodologies and adaptive innovation practices
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or emerging technology strategy
- Proven track record of translating future trends into executable business strategies
- Expertise in at least two of: AI governance, quantum commercialization, or climate-tech
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related technical field
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis, Delphi Method)
- Exceptional communication skills for presenting complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating published future-strategy work or implemented innovation frameworks
- Comfort with ambiguity and rapid iteration in emerging domains
