This role requires deep futurist thinking combined with practical implementation skills to transform speculative concepts into tangible market-ready innovations.
Responsibilities
- Forecast and analyze emerging technological, social, and economic trends through 2026-2030
- Develop strategic roadmaps for next-generation innovations in AI and biotechnology
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to prototype future-facing solutions
- Present visionary frameworks to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Lead scenario planning workshops for high-impact industry transformations
- Author thought leadership publications on future technology implications
- Identify investment opportunities in emerging frontier technologies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 5+ years experience in strategic foresight or innovation consulting
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Proven ability to translate complex future scenarios into executable strategies
- Strong data visualization and scenario modeling skills
- Experience presenting to executive audiences and influencing decision-making
- Portfolio demonstrating futurist projects or published thought leadership
