Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 strategic foresight initiatives across technology, sustainability, and human augmentation domains
- Lead cross-functional teams in identifying and evaluating emerging disruptive technologies
- Produce annual Horizon Scanning Reports with quantitative risk assessments and opportunity matrices
- Design and facilitate executive workshops on future-state scenario planning
- Establish KPI frameworks for measuring long-term innovation pipeline effectiveness
- Represent company at global futurist conferences and thought leadership platforms
- Mentor junior futurists in advanced trend analysis methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology R&D leadership
- Proven expertise in AI/ML, biotech convergence, and quantum computing applications
- Certification in Futures Studies or equivalent advanced degree (required)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed futurist journals
- Experience with Delphi methodology and cross-industry trend mapping
- Exceptional presentation skills with C-suite experience
- Portfolio demonstrating successful 5+ year strategic implementation
