Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-year strategic foresight frameworks for 2026-2030 horizons
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen technologies (quantum computing, neural interfaces, sustainable AI)
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across biotech, space exploration, and decentralized systems
- Present futuristic roadmaps to stakeholders including Fortune 500 partners and government entities
- Drive R&D investments in emerging technologies with 10+ year impact potential
- Author white papers and thought leadership on societal implications of 2026 technological shifts
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech leadership
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and long-range technological forecasting
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum, climate tech)
- Experience advising C-suite on paradigm-shifting market disruptions
- Published work in futures research or tech innovation (IEEE, MIT Press, etc.)
- Portfolio demonstrating 5+ successful future-state implementations
