Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging trends, technologies, and disruptors relevant to 2026+ landscapes
- Develop and maintain a strategic foresight framework with quarterly trend reports and scenario analyses
- Collaborate with R&D and product teams to integrate future-ready innovations into development roadmaps
- Present strategic briefings to executive stakeholders and board members on long-term opportunity landscapes
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, research labs, and think tanks for future-focused R&D
- Mentor a specialized foresight team while fostering a culture of innovation across departments
- Author thought leadership publications and represent the company at global futurist forums
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or C-suite technology leadership
- Proven track record of translating future trends into actionable business strategies
- Deep expertise in AI, quantum computing, biotech, or sustainability transitions
- Exceptional analytical skills with experience in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Strong presentation skills with ability to communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Published author or speaker at global innovation/futurist conferences
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFCS) strongly preferred
