Responsibilities
- Anticipate and map global megatrends impacting 2026+ markets using AI-driven foresight platforms
- Architect 5-year innovation roadmaps aligned with UN Sustainable Development Goals
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' prototyping quantum computing and neural interface applications
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for climate-resilient infrastructure and bio-integrated systems
- Present strategic futures to Fortune 500 clients and government innovation councils
- Mentor junior futurists in predictive modeling and trend synthesis methodologies
- Pioneer ethical AI governance protocols for autonomous decision ecosystems
Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or Innovation Management (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech R&D
- Expertise in horizon scanning, Delphi methodology, and causal layered analysis
- Published thought leadership on 4IR technologies or climate adaptation strategies
- Proficiency in futures simulation tools (e.g., GBN's Scenario Planning Suite, Kumu)
- Experience securing $5M+ in innovation grants for moonshot projects
- Portfolio demonstrating transformational impact from trend-to-product pipelines
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from APF or foresight certification program)
