Responsibilities
- Develop 2026 technology roadmaps for quantum computing, AI ethics, and sustainable tech integration
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify emerging threats and opportunities in next-gen tech
- Partner with C-suite executives to align innovation initiatives with long-term business objectives
- Produce foresight reports and scenario analyses for disruptive technologies (biotech, neurotech, climate tech)
- Manage a $5M innovation portfolio with ROI-driven decision frameworks
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal innovation ecosystem
- Represent the company at global tech foresight conferences and policy forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Forecasting, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or technology consulting
- Proven experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Certification in Futures Research or Technology Assessment (e.g., WFS, APF)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed foresight journals
- Exceptional data visualization and narrative storytelling capabilities
- Track record of launching successful future-oriented initiatives
