Responsibilities
- Develop and implement horizon-scanning frameworks to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts by 2026
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to translate future scenarios into product roadmaps and go-to-market strategies
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry pioneers for trend intelligence
- Author quarterly foresight reports for C-suite executives, including risk mitigation and opportunity identification
- Design and facilitate immersive innovation workshops using speculative design and scenario planning methodologies
- Oversee the development of a 2026 technology readiness index for strategic portfolio decisions
- Mentor internal 'Future Scouts' program to embed foresight capabilities across organizational functions
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field; PhD strongly preferred
- Minimum 7 years experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology roles
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercialized products or services
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology, and climate tech convergence points
- Exceptional storytelling abilities with executive presentation experience
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or APF)
- Published thought leadership in futurist publications or peer-reviewed journals
