Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify and analyze emerging technologies, market trends, and societal shifts relevant to 2026+
- Develop scenario-based strategic roadmaps for organizational adaptation to future disruptions
- Lead cross-functional innovation workshops to co-create solutions for anticipated future challenges
- Present foresight findings to executive leadership with actionable recommendations
- Establish and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry experts
- Quantify future market opportunities and risks through data modeling and scenario analysis
- Drive organizational culture change to embed future-readiness principles
Qualifications
- Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, Economics, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused technology roles
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented strategies for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with ability to communicate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy (articles, reports, or books)
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., WFS, APF) preferred
