Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research on emerging technologies, societal shifts, and disruptive market forces through 2030
- Develop and publish annual '2026 Vision Reports' outlining strategic imperatives and innovation opportunities
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into actionable R&D priorities and product roadmaps
- Advise executive leadership on future-proofing strategies, risk mitigation, and competitive positioning
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Present findings to stakeholders through compelling narratives and data-driven visualizations
- Champion a culture of innovation by embedding future-thinking into organizational DNA
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurism, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years of experience in innovation strategy, technology forecasting, or strategic consulting
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-focused business strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systems thinking methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts into executive-level insights
- Portfolio of published foresight work or strategic frameworks that influenced organizational decisions
