Responsibilities
- Architect strategic innovation roadmaps targeting 2026 technological inflection points
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams in developing next-gen AI/quantum solutions
- Conduct horizon-scanning for emerging technologies (biotech, nanotech, climate tech)
- Partner with C-suite to integrate future-proofing into corporate strategy
- Present thought leadership at Davos, TED, and industry summits
- Secure $50M+ in R&D funding through visionary grant proposals
- Mentor a cohort of 10+ innovation specialists
Qualifications
- PhD in Technology Futures, Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 15+ years in innovation leadership with 5+ years in emerging tech
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent tier
- Proven track record of commercializing breakthrough technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI safety
- Experience securing federal/private innovation grants
- Fluency in futures modeling (scenario planning, Delphi methods)
