Responsibilities
- Design and execute the 2026 technology innovation strategy focusing on quantum computing, AI governance, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams of PhD researchers, engineers, and business strategists
- Secure $15M+ in government innovation grants and venture partnerships
- Develop patent portfolios for breakthrough technologies with commercialization potential
- Present innovation frameworks to C-suite executives and board of directors
- Establish industry standards for ethical AI deployment by 2026
- Mentor next-generation futurists through our Horizon Academy program
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, AI Ethics, or related field with 8+ years industry experience
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (3+ successful exits)
- Expertise in futures forecasting methodologies and scenario planning
- Deep understanding of global tech policy landscapes and regulatory frameworks
- Prior experience securing federal SBIR grants or DARPA partnerships
- Published author in Nature/Science with minimum 5 peer-reviewed papers
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit) and AI ethics auditing tools
