Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026+ innovation roadmaps by analyzing emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and socio-economic trends
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype future-focused solutions and market entry strategies
- Establish strategic partnerships with research institutions, startups, and industry disruptors
- Present foresight frameworks to C-suite executives and board stakeholders
- Curate thought leadership content (whitepapers, keynotes, reports) positioning the company as a futurist authority
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget and evaluate emerging market opportunities
- Mentor R&D teams in human-centered design and ethical technology deployment
Qualifications
- 10+ years in innovation strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Advanced degree in Technology Management, Futures Studies, or related field
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex futures into actionable strategies
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists)
- Portfolio of published futurist work or successful innovation launches
