Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, quantum computing, biotech, and sustainable energy sectors
- Develop 2026 technology roadmaps with quantitative and qualitative forecasting models
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for C-suite executives on future market disruptions
- Produce whitepapers and strategic briefs on emerging technologies with 3-5 year impact projections
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype future-facing solutions
- Present findings at industry conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Technology Forecasting, Futures Studies, or related field (MS/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years experience in strategic foresight, market research, or emerging technology analysis
- Deep expertise in at least two of these domains: AI ethics, climate tech, neurotech, or space commercialization
- Proficiency in trend analysis tools (e.g., Gartner Hype Cycle, Deloitte Tech Trends)
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into executive-level narratives
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism or innovation strategy
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies and futures frameworks
