Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies with 2026 market potential
- Develop predictive models for industry transformation across AI, quantum, and biotech sectors
- Interface with C-suite executives to translate foresight into strategic product roadmaps
- Author quarterly 'Future State' reports with actionable recommendations
- Coordinate with R&D teams to prototype next-generation solutions
- Represent Horizon Labs at global innovation summits and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech research
- Proven track record of predicting market shifts (provide 3+ case studies)
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neurotech
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Exceptional data visualization and scenario planning capabilities
- Portfolio demonstrating published future-state analyses or technology forecasts
- Experience advising Fortune 500 companies on tech adoption strategies
