Responsibilities
- Develop predictive technology roadmaps for 2026-2030 market disruption
- Lead cross-functional workshops on emerging tech integration (quantum, neuromorphic, synthetic biology)
- Conduct horizon-scanning research for paradigm-shifting innovations
- Design ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and human-AI symbiosis
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board members on future tech implications
- Manage $2M+ innovation portfolio for prototype development
- Collaborate with MIT Media Lab and Singularity University on joint research initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 3+ years in future-focused roles
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Published research in IEEE or Nature on exponential technologies
- Expertise in scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Proven track record of implementing 5+ year tech roadmaps
- Deep understanding of quantum computing, AGI safety, and climate tech
- Certification in Foresight Methodology (ACF) or equivalent
- Experience with patent development for emerging tech domains
