Responsibilities
- Design and implement ethical governance frameworks for autonomous AI systems deployed by 2026
- Conduct risk assessments for emerging AI technologies including neural interfaces and generative models
- Develop bias mitigation protocols for machine learning algorithms used in critical infrastructure
- Collaborate with legal teams to create compliance standards for AI deployment across industries
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align technical teams with ethical principles
- Author white papers and position papers on AI ethics for industry conferences and regulatory bodies
- Monitor global AI ethics developments and adapt organizational strategies accordingly
Qualifications
- PhD in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field with focus on AI ethics
- 5+ years experience in AI governance, policy development, or technical ethics roles
- Deep understanding of machine learning architectures and autonomous system vulnerabilities
- Published research on AI ethics or related topics in peer-reviewed journals
- Experience working with regulatory bodies or standards organizations (NIST, IEEE, etc.)
- Strong background in philosophical frameworks for ethical technology assessment
